Camden Man, 32, Shot Dead: Prosecutor

A 32-year-old man from Camden was shot dead on Saturday, April 13, authorities said.

At about 10:20 p.m., the Camden County Police Department received a ShotSpotter activation for gunfire in the area of the 1600 block of Mt. Ephraim Avenue in Camden City, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.

Police found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to Cooper University Hospital by a Camden County Police patrol vehicle.

Algie Harmon was pronounced dead at 10:43 p.m., the prosecutor said. The second gunshot victim, a 43-year-old male from Camden City, was in stable condition.

This investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
